maybe it's because I am not familiar with how people behave in 1878? Sometimes I had the feeling, that they just had to react a little bit unrealistically so that the story could unfold. I don't know if it was just me, but I had the feeling, that much more was happening in these chapters of the story.īut even though I enjoyed reading it, sometimes I just couldn't understand how people reacted in certain situations. I also enjoyed to read about the Jocelyn in 1878. As the barrier in her mind disintegrates, she learns she must choose between love, family, and her own happiness. Is it really possible she could be living on two planes of existence, falling asleep in one and waking in another? And what is the meaning of Jackson's sudden appearance in her life? Jocelyn struggles with the bizarre images she witnesses and the emotions aroused by those she encounters. Waddington that chronicles the life of Jocelyn Timmons as she slowly comes to understand the implications of the visions.
